There For You - Sticker

Meet Katie and Sasha, two cancer warriors whose battles against Ewing Sarcoma have not dimmed their fervent aspirations.

Katie's journey began amidst the joys of her senior year in high school, only to be abruptly interrupted by the diagnosis of Ewing’s Sarcoma at the age of 17 during Christmas of 2018. Katie has weathered the storm of cancer metastasis and relapse three times. In the span of five tumultuous years, she has undergone a relentless barrage of treatments, from enduring the loss of her hair 4 times, enduring over 105 doses of radiation, countless cycles of chemotherapy, 16 surgeries, the grueling journey of a stem cell transplant, and sepsis. Yet, through it all, Katie's unwavering spirit remains undimmed at 23. Amidst the chaos, Katie's passion of creating artwork has helped her to spread awareness and support herself through this journey.

Sasha's journey began at the age of 11, thrust into the midst of an aggressive and metastatic battle against Ewing's Sarcoma. Forced to leave behind the comforts of home, grandparents, pets, and friends; Sasha embarked on a courageous journey to Boston in pursuit of treatment. Despite enduring over a year of chemotherapy, the removal of three ribs, and radiation treatments spanning her lungs, spine, and pelvis, Sasha's unwavering spirit remained undaunted. Yet, just one month after achieving remission, cancer cruelly reared its head once more, setting the stage for a second battle waged with chemotherapy, radiation, and a clinical trial facilitated by her brother's bone marrow donation. Through hundreds of days spent in the confines of hospital walls, Sasha's passion for music burned brightly, serving as hope and a fervent dream of gracing the center stage. Her aspirations extend beyond the realm of personal achievement, as Sasha endeavors to utilize her music as a catalyst for spreading awareness and funding research to combat cancer.
